I noted that you are using two motors to drive an axis.

I'm curious about the positives and negatives of this approach.

I'm most curious ass to how you compensate for any backlash since getting both motors and screws to be "precisely" in sync (for real precision and accuracy) might be an issue.

FYI- I'm looking at plans that will allow me to cut accurately and precisely since one use is to make parts for model railroad (N scale-1:160 and HO- 1:87. Of course who knows maybe even Z scale 1:220)

I like the design since it is less complicated than many others.
